Compassionate counselling in Prudhoe and online across the UK

Finding the right type of counselling can feel overwhelming, especially when you're already dealing with a difficult time.

At Pathway 2 Wellness, I offer a choice of counselling options so that you can access support in a way that feels comfortable and manageable for you.

Whether you prefer to meet face-to-face, talk online or speak by telephone, you'll have a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to explore what's going on for you.

Face-to-Face Counselling in Prudhoe

For many people, meeting face-to-face provides a sense of connection and can make counselling feel more personal.

Sessions take place in welcoming, comfortable settings in Prudhoe, Northumberland, where we can talk privately and at a pace that feels right for you.

Face-to-face counselling may be helpful if you prefer being in the same room as your counsellor or find it easier to talk away from your usual surroundings.

Online Counselling

Online counselling allows you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Sessions take place via Zoom, providing a convenient option if you have a busy schedule, live further away or simply feel more comfortable talking from your own familiar surroundings.

Online counselling can be just as meaningful and supportive as meeting face-to-face, while giving you greater flexibility.

Telephone Counselling

For some people, talking on the telephone feels easier than being on camera or sitting face-to-face.

Telephone counselling offers a private space to talk openly about whatever is bringing you to counselling, without the need for video.

It can be particularly helpful if you feel self-conscious on camera, have limited privacy at home or simply prefer to communicate by phone.

Which type of counselling is right for me?

There is no right or wrong choice.

The most important thing is finding an option that feels comfortable for you.

Face-to-face counselling may suit you if you value being in the same room and having a dedicated space away from everyday life.

Online counselling may suit you if you prefer the convenience and privacy of accessing sessions from home.

Telephone counselling may suit you if you feel more comfortable talking without video or being face-to-face.

If you're unsure, you're welcome to talk this through during your initial consultation.

Free 15-minute consultation

You don't have to commit to counselling before you've had the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for whether I'm the right counsellor for you.

I offer a free, 15-minute, no-obligation consultation.

This gives us an opportunity to briefly discuss what has brought you to counselling, what you're hoping for from therapy and which type of counselling might work best for you.

There is no pressure to book further sessions.

Confidential and professional support

Your counselling sessions provide a confidential space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings and experiences without fear of judgement.

Confidentiality is an important part of the counselling relationship. There are some circumstances where information may need to be shared because of significant concerns about safety or where I am legally or ethically required to do so. Wherever possible, this would be discussed with you first.

As a professional counsellor, I work within appropriate ethical and professional standards to ensure that your wellbeing, privacy and safety remain at the heart of the counselling relationship.

You don't have to have everything figured out

You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about before starting counselling.

Sometimes you simply know that things don't feel right.

Perhaps you're struggling with something that happened recently, carrying something from the past, or finding that your thoughts and feelings are becoming difficult to manage on your own.

Counselling gives you the opportunity to slow things down, make sense of what you're experiencing and begin to explore what might help.

You don't have to face everything alone.

If you're considering counselling but aren't sure where to begin, get in touch.
